Reporting Allowance Awarded.

Sonographers Medical now to pay Reporting Allowance.

1st May 2002 --Sonographers Medical is pleased to announce that they will now be paying a Reporting Allowance to all Sonographers.

The allowance, which will also be payable to Radiographers producing their own written Report, will be paid to all Sonographers with immediate effect.

Kevin Rendell, Co-partner, reports "We have watched the developing debate on Reporting Allowance for the past few months and fully support the claim by Sonographers to be rewarded for the work they do. It seems only right that we should 'put our money where our mouth is' and pay our own staff a similar award".

Zaffar Ahmed, Co-partner, has said "To the best of our knowledge,  we are the only Agency in the country  paying this allowance.  We hope it will encourage other Agencies to treat Sonographers with the respect they deserve and follow our example".
