Zaffar Ahmed DCR, DMU. Clinical Ultrasound Consultant

Zaffar as a Clinical Ultrasound Specialist provides consultant services to the Private Ultrasound Clinics and NHS Trusts throughout the UK. Member of the British Medical Ultrasound Society, United Kingdom Association of Sonographers and the Health Professions Council.

His specialist interests include General Abdominal Ultrasound, Obstetrics Ultrasound, Gynaecology Ultrasound, Infertility Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, 3D/4D Ultrasound and Urology Ultrasound scanning.

After working at various hospitals at a senior Sonographer level, Zaffar accepted a Superintendent Sonographer post at Guys and St. Thomas' Hospital NHS Trust in central London. At Guys and St. Thomas' Hospitals, he was involved in Clinical Ultrasound sessions as well as teaching DMU and later PGDip'. Clinical Ultrasound students, Radiology Registrar’s, Obstetrician’s and Gynaecologist’s.

Zaffar is a strong believer in CPD, and has attended many valuable seminars in the UK and Europe.

As well as maintaining his role as a Clinical Ultrasound Specialist, Zaffar now plays a critical role in validating and arranging placements for Sonographers Medical. As a result, today Sonographers Medical has grown substantially, with an efficient and effective work force and offices in London (UK), Durban (South Africa), Australia and New Zealand. It is now the UK’s number one Ultrasound Agency also supplying Art Therapists, Audiologists, Biomedical Scientists, Chiropodists, Clinical Scientists, Dieticians, Doctors, MLSO’s, Occupational Therapists, Orthoptists, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Physiotherapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists, Radiographers, Radiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists & Vascular Technologists.
